Creemos en Dios, Creador del mundo;
y en Jesucristo, el Redentor de la creación.
Creemos en el Espíritu Santo,
mediante el cual reconocemos los dones de Dios,
y nos arrepentimos del pecado
del abuso de estos dones con fines idólatras.
Afirmamos el mundo natural como la obra de la mano de Dios,
y nos dedicamos a su preservación,
mejoramiento, y su fiel uso por la humanidad.
Con gozo recibimos las bendiciones
de comunidad, sexualidad, matrimonio y familia,
no sólo para nosotros, sino también para los demás.
Nos dedicamos a los derechos
de hombres, mujeres, niños, jóvenes, adultos jóvenes,
personas de edad avanzada,
y las personas con impedimentos,
al mejoramiento de su calidad de vida,
y a los derechos y dignidad de todas las personas.
Creemos en el derecho y el deber
de las personas a trabajar para la gloria de Dios
y el bien de sí mismos y de los demás,
y en la protección de su bienestar al hacerlo;
en los derechos a la propiedad como fideicomiso de Dios,
las negociaciones laborales colectivas,
el consumo responsable;
y en la eliminación de la miseria económica y social.
Nos dedicamos
a la paz en todo el mundo,
al gobierno de la justicia y el derecho entre las naciones,
y a la libertad individual para todas las personas del mundo.
Creemos en el triunfo final de la Palabra de Dios
en los asuntos humanos,
y gozosamente aceptamos nuestra comisión
de manifestar la vida del evangelio en el mundo. Amén.

Creo en Dios Padre Todopoderoso,
Creador del cielo y de la tierra.
Creo en Jesucristo, su único Hijo, nuestro Señor,
que fue concebido del Espíritu Santo
y nació de la virgen María.
Padeció bajo el poder de Poncio Pilato,
fue crucificado, muerto y sepultado;
descendió a los infiernos.
Al tercer día resucitó de entre los muertos.
Subió al cielo
y está sentado a la diestra de Dios Padre Todopoderoso.
Desde allí vendrá a juzgar a los vivos y a los muertos.
Creo en el Espíritu Santo,
la santa iglesia católica (universal)
la comunión de los santos,
el perdón de los pecados,

Creemos en Dios Padre todopoderoso,
Creador de los cielos y de la tierra;
Creador de los pueblos y las culturas;
Creador de los idiomas y de las razas…
Creemos en Jesucristo, su Hijo, nuestro Señor,
Dios hecho carne en un ser humano para todos los humanos;
Dios hecho carne en un momento para todas las edades;
Dios hecho carne en una cultura para todas las culturas;
Dios hecho carne en amor y gracia para toda la creación.
Creemos en el Espíritu Santo,
por quien el Dios encarnado en Jesucristo
se hace presente en nuestro pueblo y nuestra cultura;
por quien el Dios creador de todo cuanto existe
nos da poder para ser nuevas criaturas;
quien con sus infinitos dones, nos hace un solo pueblo:
el cuerpo de Jesucristo.
Creemos en la Iglesia,
que es universal porque es señal del reino venidero;
que es más fiel mientras más se viste de colores;
donde todos los colores pintan un mismo paisaje;
donde todos los idiomas cantan una misma alabanza
Creemos en el reino venidero, día de la gran fiesta,
cuando todos los colores de la creación
se unirán en un arco iris de armonía;
cuando todos los pueblos de la tierra
se unirán en un banquete de alegría;
cuando todas la lenguas del universo
se unirán en un coro de alabanza.
Y porque creemos, nos comprometemos
a creer por los que no creen,

Creo en Dios Todopoderoso,
quien guió a su pueblo en el exilio y en el éxodo,
el Dios de José en Egipto y de Daniel en Babilonia,
el Dios de los extranjeros e inmigrantes.
Creo en Jesús Cristo un desplazado de Galilea,
quien nació lejos de su gente de su casa,
quien tuvo que huir del país con sus padres
cuando su vida estuvo en peligro,
y quien al volver a su propio país
tuvo que sufrir la opresión del tirano Poncio Pilato,
el sirviente de un potencia extranjera.
Fue perseguido, golpeado, torturado
y finalmente acusado y condenado a muerte injustamente.
Pero que en el tercer día,
este Jesús rechazado resucitó de la muerte,
no como un extranjero
sino para ofrecernos la ciudadanía celestial.
Creo en el Espíritu Santo,
el inmigrante eterno del Reino de Dios entre nosotros/as,
quien habla todos los idiomas,
vive en todos los países y une a todas la razas.
Creo que la Iglesia
es el hogar seguro para todos
los extranjeros y creyentes que la constituyen,
que habla el mismo idioma y tiene el mismo propósito.
Creo que la comunión de los santos
comienza cuando aceptamos la diversidad de los/as santos/as. Creo en el perdón,

I believe in Almighty God,
who guided the people in exile and in exodus,
the God of Joseph in Egypt and Daniel in Babylon,
the God of foreigners and immigrants.
I believe in Jesus Christ, a displaced Galilean,
who was born away from his people and his home,
who fled his country with his parents
when his life was in danger.
When he returned to his own country
he suffered under the oppression of Pontius Pilate,
the servant of a foreign power.
Jesus was persecuted, beaten, tortured,
and unjustly condemned to death.
But on the third day
Jesus rose from the dead,
not as a scorned foreigner
but to offer us citizenship in God’s kingdom.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the eternal immigrant from God’s kingdom among us,
who speaks all languages,
lives in all countries, and reunites all races.
I believe that the Church
is the secure home
for foreigners and for all believers
who speak the same language and have the same purpose.
I believe that the communion of saints
begins when we embrace all God’s people in all their diversity.
I believe in forgiveness,
which makes us all equal before God, and in reconciliation,
which heals our brokenness.
I believe that in the Resurrection
